Ecomundo Cleaning Seeks Cooperative Office Coordinator (NYC)

Ecomundo Cleaning is a six-year old residential and commercial cleaning cooperative. Our 21 members own the business and run it democratically. The Cooperative Office Coordinator is an essential part of team and we look forward to meeting any candidates.

We will review and interview candidates on a rolling basis, but would like someone to begin as soon as possible.

A successful candidate for the position of Office Coordinator has:
 A strong interest/background in worker/immigrant rights and the cooperative business model.
 Strong customer service skills (i.e. responding to phone calls, problem solving with clients and coop members).
 Ability to learn quickly and be interested in developing a variety of new skills; be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; have the ability to work independently and in a team.
 Superior organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated experience of written and oral presentation skills.
 Bi-lingual Spanish/English skills (required).
 Entrepreneurial/Business skills a plus.
 Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, google calendar, quickbooks, etc

Responsibilities will include:
a. Coordinate the Coop’s back office support including: maintaining the Coop member and customer records; managing customer calls and communications between Coop members and customers; matching members of the Coop with customer requests for services; calculating the estimated cost of services to the customer; managing stock of materials as needed;
b. Prepare bi-weekly reports including new jobs and any incidents
c. Conduct ongoing Client Satisfaction Surveys; and
d. Provide support for the coop’s marketing efforts.
e. Assist with financial reporting as needed

Job Logistics
 40 hours/week, (flexible schedule, some evening meetings and weekend phone coverage)
